Always Be Learning
I believe our purpose on Earth is to learn something new everyday. Whether we’re learning a new skill, word, or something about ourselves. I believe an always be learning attitude is essential to creativity. Why? Because learning keeps us relevant, it builds confidence and self esteem, and it’s just down right awesome. Over the last 3 years, Becoming Fab has been a catalyst for learning for me. I’ve learned so much about the blogging community, I have discovered new skills, and I have enhanced other skills. Not to mention, I have met so many great (and not so great) people along the way.
Learn For The Sake of Learning
Earlier this year I found out about SkillShare from a blogger pal (yeah I know I’m late). It was one of those love at first sight kind of things. You see, I’m one of those “learn for the sake of learning” type of people. To date I have completed a calligraphy class, two photography classes, and a painting class.
Which brings me to the point of this post… showing off what I learned in the photography class. This class taught basic shooting and editing skills using everyday objects. I used a set of watercolor pencils for my final project. I’ve been trying to master using my camera in manual mode for a while now and I think I’ve gotten a better. A cool part about SkillShare is getting to post your projects for feedback. From my experience, the community have been very supportive.
What’s a new skill you would like to learn? Let me know in the comment section below. Then sign up for SkillShare to find yourself a fun class. You’ll get a month free if you use my referral link so you have nothing to lose and so much to gain.. Don’t miss out.
This post contains my referral link to SkillShare. By using this link you and I will get 1 month of free membership.

You’re picture is, and is going to be beautiful!!! I know that learning everyday is important…but, I do things in my own time. Otherwise, I begin to hate learning!!!

This is so true. So many people allow their minds to become stagnant.

You should always be learning to grow as a person, and an individual!! Staying still and watching the world go by can lead to depression!
