Hi guys! Today I’m showing you how I took an old thrifted dresser and turn it into a beautiful storage piece for my crafting supplies.

What I used:
Paints: Turquish (Sherwin Williams 6939) & Extra White (Sherwin Williams 7005)
Sandpaper & palm sander
Tips for styling a dresser
1. Select a focal point.
This could be a piece of art, mirror, or in my case a DIY Ikea hack.
2. Add texture
I think texture adds greatly to any room. I like to have mixture of textures. For example, the roughness of glitter really pops against the smoothest of the lack shelf.
3. Layer, layer, layer
I like to arrange my layers in a way that allows the eye to move. So be sure to add vertical and horizontal objects.
Looks fabulous! Great job!

Awesome! May I ask where you got the alphabets from? Are they in a previous post?
I got the letters from Hobby Lobby. They run about $2.50 a letter. I don’t have a post up on how I made them yet but I will in the next two weeks.
