Happy Halloween my fabulous friend! In the spirit of halloween, today’s mindful craft project focuses on the things that haunts us all (at one time or another): the past.
“Don’t ignore the past, but deal with it, on your own pace.
Once you deal with it, you are free of it; and you are free to embrace your life and be a happy loving person.
But if your don’t, the past will come back to haunt and keep coming back to haunt you.”
How many times have you found yourself thinking about mistakes from your past? Probably too many times to count. At least it is for me. One of the hardest things to do in life is to forgive yourself of your past mistakes. And boy, I’ve made plenty of mistakes. But that’s okay. Part of life is learning from our mistakes. The problem occurs when we don’t deal with things.
My challenge to you, the next time you find yourself fixating on past mistakes acknowledge the thought, grant yourself forgiveness, and bring your thoughts back to the here and now.
