Hello my fabulous friends. It tis I, the weirdo that says stuff like “It tis I.” I promise I haven’t been drinking, just in a super silly mood right now. Must be all this water I’ve been drinking. And speaking of water, isn’t it one of the first things you think of when you hear the word cleanse? So naturally, this is where I started making changes to my diet.
I’ll be 100% honest with you. I’m not a fan of drinking water. I’m a soda lover. Dr. Pepper is like liquid crack to me. But because life is life, the things we love are usually bad for us. Yep, those 12oz cans of awesomeness are bad on the teeth, stomach lining, kidneys, and liver. Which is why I decided to cut back on drinking them and add more water into my life. However, that is so much easier to say than put into action.
So I started by buying bottles of water but quickly stopped because bottled water is expensive. Then I purchased one of those filtered water bottles and this really helped. I’m up to drinking 2 1/2 bottles a day now and only 1 or 2 sodas a day. Wait, you didn’t think I completely gave them up. Sorry but I don’t have that type of will power…yet.
So my challenge and advice to y’all nice folks, is to try to increase your water intake over the next two week. If you’re like me and not willing to pay for water then buy a filtered bottle and make the most out of the tap. If you need a little taste to your water, infuse it with fruits and herbs. I especially like cucumber water with a mint leaf. I promise you will feel better and after a while, it won’t taste as bland.
Happy Drinking,
-Tranae

I used to hate drinking water, but a year and a half ago I made a goal to drink as much water each day as I could and now I love drinking water! I find it refreshing and I crave having a nice cold glass! What helps me drink water every day is having a tumbler with a straw. I don’t know what it is about straws, but I drink so much more water when there’s a straw! You should try it! Good luck!

I have a hard time with water – unless I flavor it. I won’t drink bottled water because of the cost and the plastic and carbon footprint. I’ll try harder to drink more tap water with lemon!

While going through chemo I craved water after years of not really liking it. I still crave water, which is a good thing since it’s so good for you and I’ve noticed my hair and skin are much healthier.

the guy that I have been with four almost five years drinks at least a liter of soda a day and maybe another liter while he is at work. it is so disgusting and if he would just stop drinking soda he would lost about thirty pounds I bet… which he needs lol….I drink at least a regular size to a liter of bottle watered a day….. my thing is coffee. I need to drink more water. I am on a diet and workout kick so I have been trying to drink more water because it supposedly makes you more full….it is really good for you to ….. I am not a big fan of soda…. ice tea and water…. and coffee…. I could live on just water…. I love it in the summer, I put a bottle of water in the freezer half full and take it out and fill it with refrigerated bottled water and take it for a walk and it stays cold for a long while….
