What You Waiting For?

Uncategorized

I love fashion. Dresses, pants, and accessories…oh my. But to be honest, I don’t do as many outfit of the day posts as I would like. Its not because I don’t have the clothes or the time. I just feel more comfortable on the other side of camera.  And, I tend to be overly critical of myself. Can anybody relate?
But this year, I really wanted to push myself and step out of my comfort zone (a little). So I’m going to try to do more OOTD posts. And I’m starting today with this cute little dress I picked out from eShakti.

Dress: C/O eShakti
Jacket: American Eagle
Boots: Steven Madden

I totally had fun with this dress. It is comfortable and the fabric light enough so you can layer it but heavy enough so you don’t need a slip. The first time I wore it was to a Christmas dinner and I kept it on the dressy side. But yesterday, I wanted to see how it looked dressed down. The first look I wore all day, the rest are just little variations I has fun with.

What I like about eShakti is that you can fully customize your items. If you happen to have big boobs like me, then you will really appreciate this. The days of buying a larger size and taking it to a tailor are over. Plus, you can change hemlines and sleeves too. AWESOME! And…you can get $25 off your order for signing up with eShakti. Winning!
Oh I almost forgot…this baby is machine washable. Which was important to me because tuition and dry cleaning bills don’t mix. I just washed it in cold water and hung it to dry. The label says you can put it in the dryer but I like to hang dry my color clothes.
So, how did I do on my first OOTD of this year? Good, I hope. How are you stepping out of your shell this year?
P.S. This song is awesome. LOVE!!

I really love that red dress. Great photos! I wish I could do these types of posts but I am awkward in front of the camera and tend to just smile. lol

Tranae, you definitely did a wonderful job on your post. I wish I had cute clothes like that to play around with. Regardless, I am stepping out of my comfort zone and trying to become more fabulous over the next year. I have been stuck in a rut for far too long and want to look better so I can feel better. (BTW, I’m a Southern Girl myself, just transplanted to WA now) 🙂
