I have always had a love for photography. However, it wasn’t until I started blogging that I started to learn more beyond pointing and shooting. Over the two year, I’ve been making an effort to better learn the art of photography. I’m constantly snapping pictures of thing and trying out the different setting on my camera. I’ve learned about ISO, shutter speed, and aperture settings; however, I think the most important thing I have learned from photography is patience. Take these images for example, I took at least 15 pictures trying to get the best angles and the right focus. Yes, I could have snapped one pic in a couple of seconds and went about my business but where is the adventure in that? We are constantly told as children that practice makes perfect. However, I think the saying should be changed to practice and patience makes perfect because you could practice something for a day but it takes times for skills to develop and grow. My photography isn’t perfect yet and to some it may never be. But when I look back and compare my photo from 4 years ago, I can see a lot of growth and that makes me happy.
Patience is bitter, but its fruit is sweet.
I think you did a great job with this pic. Patience is a virtue sayeth the Lord. It does take alot of trials and tribulations to improve our patience
