Hi guys!
We are going into the third week of Jenny’s Let’s Make Habits challenge and this week’s focus is on staying motivated. And let’s be honest, the majority of goals remain unaccomplished because of a lack of motivation or a lack of commitment… Can I get an amen? So today I thought I would share with you five things to help you stay motivated.
1. Keep a journal
I honestly believe that every person with the ability to do so should keep a journal of some type. Rather it’s an art journal, lyrical journal, or the plain ole writing of words. Why??? Because journals allows us to reflect and gain clarity. They also give us a way to visualize our accomplishments.
2. Positive Self-Talk
This should really be #1 because there is nothing more important than the way we talk to ourselves. Self talk is the make or break in any thing we do. Why??? Because the body does what the mind tells it to. Need some example of self-talk? {Click here}
3. Vision Board
Each year I create or update my vision board. This is where I put a visual representation of my goals and dreams. Why??? Because the more you see something, the harder you will work for it.
4. Support System
Bloggers are the luckiest people in the world. Almost everyday a new challenge starts that offers support. For instance, through Jenny’s Let Make Habits challenge, I have met other people that are working towards their goals. We visit each others blogs and offer words of encouragement. A good support system is vital on those days when you don’t feel like you can make.

I love the idea of words of inspiration. Positive words hold such an integral part of living ad I love the idea of having them as posters on the wall.

Making the posters would be a fun DIY project too.
