Hello, my crafty friend! It’s craft time and I have a gatefold card featuring lawn fawn stamps that’s going to blow your mind! This card was inspired by Marine Simon and it was a treasure to make. This video is a little different than my usual video because it’s a Craft Talk video. If you’re new Becoming FAB, Craft Talk is a series where we talk about creativity, personal development, and mindfulness all while creating fabulous projects.
This project was inspired by two people: Marine Simon inspired the card and Kristina Werner inspired the topic. Which is, “Is it okay to copy another crafter’s work?” And I think my response might surprise you. Watch it below or on my Youtube channel. Also, be sure to check out the step by step directions written below.

Cut List
Cut papers to the following dimensions.
Strathmore Bristol Paper: 5-1/4 by 12 inches.
Craft cardstock: 5-1/2 by 4-1/4 inches (A2)
Craft cardstock: 4-1/2 by 9-3/4 inches
Navy cardstock: 5-3/4 by 9
Main card panel
Using a pencil and the Bristol paper, lightly add lines on the 2in, 4in, 8in, and 10 in. mark.
Add stamped images using masking paper as needed to create layers.
Add masking to all stamped images and create water, sand, and sky backgrounds using distress inks. To create ripples in the water, lightly add water using a water brush.
Embellish with wink of stella and glossy accent and allow to dry over night.
Score and fold at the 2in, 4in, 8in, and 10in mark.
Apply Scor tape adhesive on back between the 4in and 8in line.
Prepare the A2 sized craft cardstock by apply Distress Ink in the color Walnut Stain to the edges of the paper.
Using an distress tool or the edge of your scissors, distress the edges of the paper.
Apply Scor tape to the back.
Sleeve
Create the sleeve by scoring and folding the craft cardstock on the 4-5/8in. and 9-1/4in. mark.
Place scor tape on the small flap and secure it to the inside of the paper.
Apply Distress Ink in the color Walnut Stain to the edges of the paper.
Stamp image using the Distress Oxide Walnut Stain ink.
Using a brown Staedtler Triplus Fineliner add a trail of lines.
Cut a circle using a circle die and stamp sentiment in VersaMark Ink. Layer with embossing powder then heat set.
Secure to sleeve using foam tape.
Gatefold Card
Create a card base using the navy cardstock by scoring and folding at the 4-1/2in mark.
Using the 1-2-3 Punch Board, create a notch in the center of the back side of the card.
Create a gift card pocket using Scor Tape and a gift card as a guide.
Add stamped image to cardbase and emboss.
Using Scor tape, secure the main card panel to the center of the A2 sized craft cardstock. Next secure to the card base.
